Hi readers! Sorry for the delay. I know I promised voluntary contributions would be up yesterday, but I hit a catch. Substack’s subscription system doesn’t allow for payments to writers based in the Philippines (or in most anywhere in the world that’s not the U.S. or Europe, actually). As a workaround, I set up an account on Buy Me a Coffee, a platform which offers writers a way to receive support from their readers.
You can buy me a coffee here!
Any amount is much appreciated. However, readers who commit to a monthly or yearly membership can request for one short article each year about a biodiversity-related topic of their choosing, which I'll post here on Moon River.
For subscribers who’ve already made pledged contributions, this means your pledges on Substack won’t push through. However, if you’re still interested in supporting me, you can instead sign up to become a member like I described above.
Thank you so much again for your support. In better news, however, you can read the first installment of Speaking of Wonder here, if you haven’t received a copy of the essay in your inboxes already.
Cheers!
Rio
